• Successfully delivered five new application projects with values of up to £450,000. These included some novel design aspects to be designed in, including the first Bowman installation on an SI gas engine, and the first to be lubricated with standard engine oil.• Project management responsibilities include managing project tasks, risks and bill of materials. I report monthly on budget and schedule progress. Phases of projects comprise requirements capture, system production and test, on site performance testing and release to production of a series system.• Currently managing two new product development projects. This has meant managing a feasibility study and keeping close control of the costs and timescales in one case. In the other, an internal development, a business case has been built and initial design decisions outlined.• Lead Engineering and Production validation of proposed quotes. Working with Sales, this includes validating scope and budget, and identifying risks.• Responsible for communication between Production and Engineering. Various issues and tasks are given to me to solve on a daily basis to ensure both departments are completing actions as and when expected. This includes tracking and expediting all engineering changes and attending production led meetings as an Engineering representative.• Reviewed customer returned Turbogenerators to understand the root cause of failures. Undertook a project to improve the returns process focusing on the quality of data captured for Engineering use.• Delivered a project to update both Power Electronics models. I worked with the engineers to ensure all actions were completed to my plan and worked with supply chain to expedite prototype delivery and new product cut-in.

Moved into the Project Engineering team to focus on project management and product development• Manage integration and installation projects for external customers from kick off to completion. This includes agreeing specifications, managing internal resource, managing timescales and discussing results and further work.• Maintain close relationships with customers over long periods and through multiple packages of work.• Conduct sensor development and characterisation projects aimed at improving sensor performance and understanding of sensor behaviour. Delivered an improved sensor specification from the results.• Site work on numerous wind turbines installing sensor systems and carrying out fault finding work. I have travelled to sites alone and as a member of an installation team. I have also managed teams of contractors.• Use software and firmware tools to configure and fault find various installed hardware.• Analyse data from blade sensor systems and write reports on blade behaviour for customers.• Identify issues and improvements with site hardware and manage redesign work.• Implement changes to procedures to improve quality. Specifically working on a formalised system test database and site acceptance checklist.• Responsible for certification and maintenance of company site safety equipment.• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and Pro/DESKTOP. Appreciation of MATLAB.• Full involvement over two years with the ETI FLOW project. It is an innovative condition monitoring project in collaboration with leading companies and universities. My key focuses are costing, requirements and system validation. I have designed an array of sensors for trial on two turbines after conducting detailed research into developing blade damage detection sensing.• Been involved in discussions about the structure of the department, including interviewing for new members of the team.

This included directing Southampton University as a research consultant. Conducted proof of principle testing on a prototype blade damage detection system.• Organised site visits and worked in a team to install blade sensor systems all over the world.• Managed trial sensor installations including integrating the system with the turbine. Installed the full system on a turbine alone, directing customer technicians to assist.
