Mattalics ME with Hamble Aerostructures, working to resolve complex issues on a multitude of Military & Civil aviation projects. Primarily dealing with machined product, but had experience working will all aspects of the production process, from billet to painted Assmbly. Also using CATIA to create CATParts and process, programming CNC machine tools and verifying code using Vericut. During my time at Hamble I have use a multitude of tools such as:•RCCA such as ishikawa & 5 whys•8D RCCA analysis •CATIA Programming and Part/Product creation•Online Programming•Resolving NCR and problem solving to provide robust corrective action/Rework where required•Working to ISO9001/AS9100•Lean processes and working•Bidding on new work•Enginnering of new processes from scratch•GD&T•Creating production processes and drawings

My first year of fully skilled employment after my apprenticeship at formally GE Hamble, which is now Hamble Aerostructures an aernnova company. I predominantly ran and programmed components on the sites turning section for varying programs such as Airbus A380 and A400M, Boeing 737, BAE Hawk and T-45 Goshawk and Eurofighter typhoon. My role often required me to problem solve and think on my feet, being called upon to deal with various issues mainly centred around all things turning both manual and CNC.Machines and O/S used and programmed include:Mori-Seki 5 axis CNC Lathe (Twin spindle, 5 axis Turrert) - MAPPSMori-Seki 7 axis CNC Lathe (Twin spindle, twin turret) - FanucDaewoo Puma 4 axis CNC Lathes – FanucDaewoo Puma 3 axis CNC Lathe – FanucHankook 3 axis NC Lathe - FanucColchester student centre latheDean Smith and grace centre latheJones and Shipman surface grinderMaterials:TitaniumTi-6Al-4V, 3D printedAerospace Stainless Steels15-5PH, 17-4PH, S80, S99, S103Aerospace Aluminium 6061, Aluminium forgings and castings, Other assorted Airbus and Boeing specs
