  During the Nology course I spent four weeks working on a real-life client project where I gained experience working in an Agile environment practicing paired programming. The project consisted of building a mobile web application in React using Firebase for hosting, authentication and database interaction. This process allowed me to practice working in a team whilst collaborating on a singular GitHub repository, as well as building strong client relationships. More generally, the course has also allowed me to grow confidence in presenting my work to others and articulating this in both a technical and non-technical way. I can now build responsive web applications that interact with pre-existing or self-made API’s, and can do so with concise, semantic code. I now know how to implement unit testing, with JEST and Enzyme, and why it is a valuable tool. Show less
