  While at Airbus, my placement was divided into 2 six month placements. One was in the Research and Technology Department and the other was in the A400M Fluid Mechanical Team. Fuel R&T Roles and Responsibilities: - Researched and simulated the water and ice accumulation of the A380 fuel tanks using Matlab. - Contributed to Rolls Royce and Airbus project to calculate ice accretion and 'snow shower' effect in fuel pipes at various flow rates. - Lead and discussed the budgeting and project deliverables for Fuel Systems R&T to senior management in Hamburg. A400M Team Roles and Responsibilities: - Re-wrote Ground Test Requirements for the A400M and carried out ground testing on the aircraft. - Advised and assisted A400M senior management on rectifying leaking fuel pumps at final aircraft assembly.
