  I did my 3rd year of University as a placement year at Owen Mumford. From my time here I learnt more than my first 2 years of uni combined. The skills I developed were not only a range of new languages and frameworks, but also team working and social skills that were required when working on a project, from the requirements elicitation at the beginning, to the agile development process, and then deploying into production and maintaining the applications.
