  • Worked as a lab assistant and researcher with Dr. Robert Gaines, twice as a participant in Pomona's Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) • Researched concretions, cement nodules of variable size formed during the formation of sedimentary rocks, and the geochemical and mineralogical data preserved within. Data collected was then used to analyze and understand the geochemical environmental regime from when the rock formed. The research has a variety of applications towards understanding paleoenvironments throughout deep time. • Collected samples in Orderville, UT and Hubei, China.
