      My role is to oversee the transportation training program for the Continuing Education division at Johnson County Community College. We provide driver's education, defensive driving, motorcycle safety, truck driver training, as well as drone and aviation training. Johnson County Community College also provides one of the only driver's education training for driver's education in the state of Kansas.In 2021, I oversaw three off-campus training sites and managed more than $500k in transportation training equipment. I also helped lead the transportation program to become the largest revenue-generating program in Continuing Education.Johnson County Community College’s Continuing Education branch offers more than 2,600 courses and programs that enhance career development and personal enrichment. Non-credit courses and contract training increase knowledge and skills while boosting job productivity and career potential. Traditional credits are not earned toward a degree, but you may earn CEUs (continuing education units), certifications and licensure within various professional education programs.At Johnson County Community College, we’re working to change lives through learning at Johnson County Community College. We serve 44,000 credit and continuing education students a year on a beautiful 245-acre campus in Overland Park, Kansas, in and around the Kansas City metropolitan area.
