Bio
Alicia Lane
It's rare to meet someone as passionate about unleashing potential like Joe embodies every day. I had the joy of managing Joe for just over a year when he was Chief of Staff to the head of our rapidly growing design department. I was amazed at his ability to support and level-up the entire team (including me). Joe contributed a lot to our team's success, but what really stands out is his ability to see opportunities/gaps (near-term or in the future) and bring people together to address it, collaboratively. This often resulted in team mates learning new skills, improving processes, or gaining confidence in how they approach complex problems. And, he is constantly challenging himself to learn and grow. Joe always made me and the team feel like we are valued and belong. He was crucial to the team feeling safe. Anyone would be lucky to have Joe on their team.

Joe focuses on connection and relationship building in his work. He has had several roles in the time I have had the opportunity to work alongside him and navigates ambiguous space with a desire and drive for order and transparency. In his role as CoS to Head of Design, Joe curated and revamped a space of connection for peer CoS to cut down on meetings and streamline engagement. I am thankful for this space that Joe helped co-create. I value Joe's loyalty, judgement, and candor as we explore how to best enable our respective teams and appreciate the care he takes in engaging thoughtfully, asking for feedback often, and centering our associates and talent at the center of his work.
