I have worked with Joey at Toolwire for 3 years on a few different projects. What impressed me the most was that Joey, being a junior engineer, was able to step back, see the big picture, assess the product architecture and understand the implications of any code that he wrote. The same applied to the processes at the company. He was fully aware of the importance of clear communications and was at ease following procedures. If he needed any information or help with his work, he was not shy about asking. He would never delay his work waiting for something that could be resolved with just a phone call or an email. On top that Joey is a quick learner. I could always count on him to take on a new technology or work on somebody else’s code. Joey has an easy going personality and is great to work with. I highly recommend him!

I worked closely with Joseph during our midterm group project in which we used his previous game engine and game idea to develop a very complete final project. Joseph, who was our project tech lead shined as a subject matter expert and went above and beyond to make sure the others in the group were able to maximize their contributions while he also carried a large work load of his own. We ultimately presented a very cleanly, solidly built final game that was among, if not the best in the class, largely because of his involvement. Joseph showed himself to be one of those guys that really loves to code, loves the idea of growing as a programmer and lives the lifestyle of a lifelong learning programmer (the best kind in my opinion). I was fortunate enough to join forces with Joseph on our senior project in which he excelled as a fully participating proactive team member whom when given a task, would come back with everything asked for and many more features that added a lot of value to the final product. All this on top of the fact that his turn around time was almost instantaneous. Seriously though, he's fast. My recommendation comes from my respect for his work, his positive attitude as well as the fact that he's a pretty fun guy to talk to. I know Joseph will go far where ever he finds himself.
