I co-led research funded by an NSF grant regarding the mechanisms, timing, and paleoenvironment of dolomitzation and carbonate diagenesis in the Nanpanjiang Basin of South China. Lab work included petrographic analysis, LA-ICPMS processing of rare Earth elements and U-PB age dates, fluid inclusion analysis, SEM analysis, and cathodoluminescence evaluation. I presented our researching findings at the Trinity Research Symposium 2022 and GSA Connects 2022.

I co-led research funded by an NSF grant regarding the sedimentological and geochemical analysis of a dinosaur track site in central Texas. Field work included mapping, description of measured sections, and collection of key samples. As for lab work, I analysed thin sections, gamma ray data, and geochemical signals across the stratigraphic section. I also presented our work at the Trinity Research Symposium 2021 and the GSA Connects 2021. The project culminated in our publication in the September 2022 Bulletin of the South Texas Geological Society. Show less
