A summer job in which I was assigned a large variety of projects which all served to better the experience of everybody at my high school. Examples of these assignments include: Leveraging both Java and Javascript to design and program a demerit reporting web application that connected to a server which in turn made FileMaker API calls to a database to retrieve and send data. Teachers could log in and it would present them with the rosters of all the classes they were teaching that day and allowed them to automatically log absences and other demerits into the administration’s database. Assisting with the development of the school’s internet infrastructure by analyzing network performance and providing statistical reports for both real-time and historical measurements. Providing technical assistance and maintenance for a webserver that users could query information from by sending it a text from their cell phone. Collaborating with coworkers to design and write applications for both iOS and Android. Writing applications for enterprise phone systems. Designing and programming a robot using an Arduino that used GPS to navigate around the campus. Also utilized radio communication with a stationary GPS base station to calculate error in real time.
