Joseph H. Williams is the Fatherhood Development Assistant at The Fathers and Families Center of Indianapolis. His primary areas of work are with the Fatherhood team, but he also works concomitantly with the workforce development, and education teams respectively. Joseph joined the Fathers and Families Center January 2014 as a college intern. His work involves group leadership and giving practical guidance on day-to-day activities to participants of the program, which includes making contacts in the community to obtain cooperation with the program, following through to assure that the program participants meet their commitments, and to obtain specific case information from individuals served and from other neighborhood sources for the use of the supervisor. Joseph is a continuing student at Ivy Tech University and is enrolled to join the IUPUI Social Services Bachelors Program in the fall. Joseph was born in Birmingham, Alabama and is the proud father of four beautiful children. Joseph understands that most people rarely find their passion in life. The fact that Joseph is passionate about the community that he serves gives him a rare ability to provides inspiration to population of people he serves and feels almost intimately connected to.
