  I write, edit and assign stories for the sports sections of a daily paper, The Pekin Daily Times, as well as three weekly papers: The Washington Times-Reporter, The Morton Times News and the East Peoria Times-Courrier.I assign and choose stories based on if a story is newsworthy, timely, and fits our local philosophy. My daily responsibilities are to generate content, edit generated content and determine which stories are suitable for our daily publication.
