Whilst I was conducting the start-up of Jimblebar Mine for BHP in 2012, I was the only drill and blast engineer/designer on site. For 8 months I work alone times were tough to find qualified people to work in drill and blast. Joe was hired and I proceeded to familiarise him with the job requirements. Joe became a good friend and a good drill and blast engineer. It was a pleasure to work with Joe.
