I personally suggested and introduced the following: VM Environments, Mecurial, Jenkins, a team chat bot (with Jira Integration), a code review tool (Review Board), a source quality control tool (Sonar Source). * Apart from my architectural role, I was also expected to deliver code at the same pace as other developers on the team. I developed two main frameworks, our Restful Server Framework and a Wicket Web Front-end Framework. * Restful Server Framework - The code base was suffering from a lack of separation of concerns. Views and business logic were often found in the same place made the code very inflexible and highly coupled. I introduced a clear separation between the front and back end, reducing complexity and making it easier to test and more reliable. * Wicket Web Front-end Framework – As a result of the above changes the front-end could become a much lighter web interface. I introduced our team to Wicket through presentations and pair programming. Company/Team Profile: I worked as a part of the Totem team, a product that provides market makers in OTC derivatives definitive consensus market prices so they can independently check their trading book valuations. Totem services are offered to the equity, interest rate, currency, commodity, credit and bond markets, providing comprehensive matrices of vanilla prices as well as a wide selection of exotic products.
