It was a pleasure interviewing and hiring Joseph Rosenthal for the position of Salesforce Architect and Director of Financial Systems. The company and I could not be more satisfied with Joe’s skills and performance. In addition, Joe is a CPA, and he has an extensive background and understanding of setting up financial systems and integration of various systems. Joe inherited a system that was far from being satisfactory, and within weeks he started to turn-around our systems and deliver results. His efforts allowed management and the commercial team to see real-time results. Joe is a problem solver in the integration of Salesforce with financial systems. The entire management team is more than satisfied with his results and the on-time delivery of his projects. It was reassuring to have someone who understands business, finance, accounting and Salesforce handling system integration. Joe would be a great asset to anyone looking for a Salesforce Architect with an Accounting background. He has my personal and professional recommendation. A few of Joe’s accomplishments are listed below. • Created a Salesforce conversion dashboard and regional manager dashboard • Implemented Avalara for sales tax capture and reporting • Transitioned from a manual monthly commission process that took four days to an automated Salesforce commission reporting process that now takes less than four hours to complete • Transitioned from a manual expense reporting and approval process to Concur software for expense entry and approval • Created a Dataloader sFTP protocol to send orders to logistics • Integrated Concur software with QuickBooks • Upgraded QuickBooks desktop pro 2014 to QuickBooks desktop plus 2018 • Transitioned to an Intuit hosted platform (Right Network) so that users in the U.S. and the European parent company can see the same information

Joe is probably the most knowledgeable consultant I have ever worked with. He was hired as the Great Plains and Sales Force consultant over many other candidates because he came to my company (Netsmart) prepared and with a detailed knowledge of our company and our operations. His ideas were always creative and on the mark for what we were trying to accomplish. He so impressed the executives of Netsmart that we eventually hired him. I can guaranty that you will not be disappointed if you utilize Joe!

TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND DEFENSE In my present consulting role, I collaborated with Management to successfully negotiate Salesforce discounts - resulting in $100,000+ annual cost savings. My initial deployment in a public corporation (9 subsidiaries) consists of standard objects plus Apsona, Conga Composer, Conga Courier, Field Trip, GovWin, Sales Wave and Steelbrick CPQ. I used Apsona's object tabular views which permitted Senior Management to review and adjust bookings, revenue and gross margin data. I designed new Sales Wave dashboards that Senior Management used to review business unit, account and sales leader performance by bookings, gross margin, geography, product, quota and revenue metrics. I converted data from Sugar CRM, Salesforce professional and Excel using a combination of Import2 and Apsona. I also used Dell Boomi to connect Salesforce with CostPoint and Managed 2000 ERP systems. MEDIA As the Salesforce project manager, I implemented the quote to cash functionality between NetSuite and Salesforce. A new product hierarchy with 24,000 active product codes was implemented. I used the Celigo connector to integrate data between the two systems and the Flosum utility was used to transfer all sandbox changes to the production environment. NON-PROFIT As the Salesforce business analyst and project manager, I was responsible for implementing Salesforce using the non-profit starter pack, a branded Napilli community template, iConnect mass email blasts, Knowledge and article management. The Napilli template enabled community cloud users to view featured events, search articles and register for events. In a different engagement, I was brought in as the senior Salesforce Administrator after the initial Salesforce deployment failed. This engagement comprised 1,000 Salesforce user licenses and 100,000 customer community licenses. I identified the initial underlying deployment weaknesses, developed dynamic dashboards and recommended Conga Courier. Show less
