  Typical tasks include, but are not limited to: 1.Assist JCC students and employees with computer-related issues; troubleshoot and resolve computer requests. 2.Monitor the use of electronic environments assuring the security of equipment, proper handling of notebook computers, and adherence to the Responsible Use Policy. 3.Encourage electronic use patrons to follow policies and procedures; report patrons who will not cooperate with policies and procedures to supervisor. 4.Report violations of the Responsible Use Policy to supervisor. 5.Complete maintenance in electronic environments; report computers in need of repair to the floor manager; ensure prep rooms are secured at closing. 6.Achieve competency with JCC standard equipment and software; assist learners to achieve competency with JCC standard equipment and software. 7.Stage, deliver, set-up, test, operate, and retrieve electronic/media equipment campus-wide. 8.Maintain files, enter data, and run reports pertaining to computer lab equipments use/repair/maintenance. 9.Create and distribute instructional documentation college-wide. 10.Assist computer lab/classroom evacuation during power outage/fire/severe weather. 11.Answer phones; relay accurate messages. 12.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
