QA for Enbridge over Precision Pipeline Company. Track and record all charge items and document the contractors daily progress in such areas as Clearing, Survey, Horizontal Directional Drilling, and Tie-ins. While doing this I documented and photographed all aspects of the work. I turned these reports over to Enbridge on a daily basis. I also filled out Safe Work Permits and Ground Disturbance Permits for the contractor prior to any work taking place and held daily meetings with the crews to address any potential hazards that they might encounter. My final job was to ensure that all coatings be applied in accordance with Enbridge specifications.

I went through an extensive training program where I shadowed another seasoned inspector until I was sent out with my own crews. I was a part of 5 different hydro tests on 24" pipe for PG&E. While on these projects I was in charge of quality assurance for all coating application and utility activity on their active gas line as well as the line being tested. I was then sent to Fresno, CA to be part of a team of inspectors for a 9 mile pipe replacement project. I was first assigned to perform stand by for digging ditch. I observed and documented the potholing of all foreign utilities and was responsible for making sure the foreman and operators were aware of any utilities in the area prior to digging. Next I took over all the coating inspection for the main line with the coating crew. I was then sent to work as the solo inspector with Mears on an Integrity did in Bakersfield, CA where I finished the work year.
