Quick Point is a plastics injection moldingcompany with four different plants suppling wholesale plastic items primarily to the promotionalproducts industry. I acted as the plant manager for the Fenton MO Plant with the Union MO,Washington MO, and Russell AR plant managers reporting to me. All production, manufacturing,maintenance, purchasing, inventory, scheduling, shipping and receiving reported to me.After the event of 9/11 tower attack the industry took a hugh down turn and the company’s grosssales shrank in half 2012 to just over 10 million dollars, yet we remained with the same net profits asthe prior year. The company CEO at the annual budget meeting stated he didn’t understand how ournet profiles where still high, the CFO responded by attributing the credit to me and new policies andprocedures, I had put into place was the result of the savings and profits.

Thiscompany was a spin off of McDonnell Douglas to provide medical test kits for astronauts. BioMeriuxis a french owned company with US sales at that time of over 200 million dollars. I was the headproduction manager for all of the disposable departments and maintenance. I had eight supervisorsand 200 employees over three shifts reporting to me. I was solely responsible for all manufacturingproblems and issues on all three shifts for all three departments. I was responsible for training anddevelopment hiring and termination of all my reports. I also was solely responsible all budgeting andevaluations and good manufacturing practices within my departments. Worked daily with purchasingand sales to establish the production schedule and meet MRP goals.
