Joseph Hunt was hired by IT Sligo's BA in Performing Arts degree programme (Directing for Theatre module) to introduce the important role sound plays in performance. Joe brought in a huge array of sounds and demonstrated how soundscapes, timing, volume and so on can create different atmospheres, environments and meanings for an audience. He then various examples to different plays. His approach and personable attitude was invaluable to our students and we will be using his expertise in the future.
