Keeping record of Donor funded projects and accounting on the expenditures. Prepare payment vouchers ensuring the payment is adequately supported in compliance with AHBFI rules and regulations. Review travel advances to confirm accuracy,completeness,approved budget availability,adequacy of supporting documents and adherence to organizations policy. Support the program team and other departments in budget review and re-allocation as advised by the Finance Manager. Preparation of income and expenditure accounts Prepare Monthly expenditure reports per each program and making comparison between actual and budgeted amounts. Prepare Monthly bank reconciliation reports. Preparation of donor financial reports ensuring they are accurate ,complete and reliable. Updating the fixed asset register . Working with program and departmental teams and mentor them through capacity building. Participate and support the Internal and External audit processes ensuring all documents needed are availed and follow up on recommendations. Ensure Withholding taxes are deducted and remitted to KRA for services rendered and attracting Withholding tax. Making timely payment for all statutory deduction to the relevant bodies. Show less
