  As CTO of HRLocker I gained extensive people management experience by being completely responsiblefor hiring, performance reviews, salary reviews and managing disciplinary issues of the technology department. The company won a Local Enterprise Office innovation grant as part of myproposed technical vision for the company and an Enterprise Ireland grant to fund a new hirefor the project. The last 6 months of my time in HRLocker was spent in a very hands on project management, design, architecture and development of a new HR Review application, Real Time Reviews.As part of the company need to secure ISO 27001 certification I undertook to align the company to 27001 and GDPR compliance by hardening IT systems and implementing the statement of applicability. Also as part of this project I gained certification as an IRCA qualified ISO 9001 Internal Auditor to start the Internal Audit programme for management systems quality requirements of ISO 27001. The first major development completed was the addition of Stripe as a payment method on the product front end. The next major feature was the integration to the IrishJobs.ie paid job board as part of HireLocker ATS.   Silvercloud was a start-up originating from a research project in TCD Dublin, which received funding from the national development research center (NDRC) to investigate developing and producing a software delivery platform for an online therapeutic assistant. This project had two founding developers (the now CTO and myself), an interaction designer, a therapist and clinical psychologist. We worked together over an 18-month period to take the research from an academic PhD thesis to a now very commercial successful software product.
