Jan 2021 - Present
As a Family advocate, my role is to provide support and offering services of the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center to referred families. I meet with caregivers, assess needs, refer to services, and follow up to ensure adequate services have been provided to help families in need. We partner with law enforcement, child protective services, and several other entities involved in their multi-disciplinary team to help any and all families in need. This has been such a wonderful learning opportunity… As a Family advocate, my role is to provide support and offering services of the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center to referred families.
