I wanted to push myself coming into the third year of university and step into something I had never done before. Source FM was the perfect opportunity to do that. I co-host the show with my coursemate Will Luckett and the work we have done on it so far has been superb. I had no intention of a career in radio but the production side has become my drive and has opened a new pathway for myself. I have become immersed in radio production and I wanted to extend my knowledge in the field and experience it on a bigger scale so I had something to take back when I go into the new year with Source FM. I sent my CV into Celador Radio and was offered two weeks work experience at the Southampton office. I edited copy, recorded bulletins, sourced news and attended an AFC Bournemouth press conference.
