The new high school is approximately 82,000 sq. ft. at a cost of $26 million including demolition of the old school and current elementary school. The high school is masonry bearing containing many upgrades from their current facilities. An additional LFI component of the project was to redo their existing stadium with new turf, bleachers, and track. It also consists of many tie ins with the existing hospital, many utility relocations, existing street abandonment and relocations, and renovations to the existing hospital. Southerly Waste Water Treatment PlantSeptember, 2012 to Present – Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District – SFPI-1 and SFPI-2Southerly WWTP, SFPI-1 ($19,000,000), consists of rehabilitation and renovation of 2 Junction Chambers, the Screen and Grit Building, and 7 Grit Tanks. Structural additions will be made to the east and west sides of the Screen Building. Electrical improvements, including new electrical switchgear, power distribution systems, and standby generator, will be made in addition to those in the Screen and Grit Building. Bridge crane system improvements, which include relocation of the old system while the grit tanks are still in use, will be made as well. Other repairs and replacements will be made to the motor-operated sluice gates, rectangular butterfly valves, and valve actuators, while the weir gates will be completely replaced. New driveways, walks, and drainage improvements. Southerly WWTP, SFPI-2 ($43,000,000), includes renovations and improvements to the 18 existing Primary Settling Tanks, Second Stage Lift Station and Access buildings. A new Chemical Storage Facility and Chemically Enhanced High Rate Treatment (CE-HRT) Demonstration Facility will be constructed. The CE-HRT building, which goes into use in spring 2013, will be part of the Primary Settling Tanks. An addition to the Disinfection Building, which houses process equipment, will be constructed in close proximity to the existing building. The construction included a storage bldg. on driven h-piles, installation of storage tanks, at all locations, and various pump and piping system put backs.
