Responsibilities : • System administrator that is responsible for the standard day to day Monitoring of Linux servers, Actively manage and monitor cloud infrastructure on AWS like EC2, Route53, S3 including backup and scaling. • The deployment of a standard LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) web server configuration, including installing all standard plugins, SSL and configuration. • Build and deploy Docker container to break up single monolithic application into micro services, improvement developer work flow, increase scalability and optimizing speed. • Also very much familiar working with Sophos Firewall for Port forwarding , Network traffic packet capture, SD-WAN and VPN. • Install, Configure and Upgrade RHEL 7x/8x Operating Systems. • Monitoring applications and infra using Cloud watch, Zabbix and Nagios. • Experience with automation management using Jenkins and Git. • Troubleshoot Hardware, Software and Performance issues on Linux based systems. • Troubleshoot and resolve infra issues in our development test, staging and production • Closely coordinate with other Infrastructure teams like Site Service Engineers, Network Engineers, Storage Admins, Developers, Testers and Database Administrators. • File System Administration on Linux for ext3/ext4, Swapfs and NFS. • Analyze Root cause for a given issue and Work with technical Staff to document issues with a complete resolution. • Troubleshoot Performance related issues on Linux to ensure Uptime and Connectivity. • Work collaboratively with development team to deploy and operate our systems • Scheduling of jobs through CRON for backups and monitoring process. • Creation and administration Volume groups, Logical Volumes using LVM. • Involved in troubleshooting of CPU, Memory, I/O and Network on Linux Operating Systems. • Experience with Database like mysql , mongodb, Elasticsearch.
