I am mainly located on the Shoe Team, where it is my responsibility to ensure that customers are served to a high and efficient standard. I have also spent a lot of times working on the Till Department. I have also been required to assist with the “cashing up” of the money at the end of the trading day. I am currently a safety steward at Bournemouth Football Club. On a match-day it is my responsibility to take alcohol away from any supporters in the away end outside of the stadium. During the match I am positioned on the corner-flag and when a goal is scored I form a barrier of stewards to ensure no supporters trespass onto the pitch. My roles included coning out the pitch, collecting in the teams money, refereeing three 40 minute games a night and writing a match report that I had to send to my boss in the head office, the report had to include any serious breaches of the rules such as serious foul play, abusive and/or insulting language and if a team has not paid their money.
