Blackburn Gould was set up with the aim of providing facilities management support and training to SMEs and other educational institutions. It focuses on capacity building in frontline facilities staff, resulting in their improved skills and technical ability. To ensure the sustained viability of this organisation that I started and guarantee long term funding for accredited training courses, I have established partnerships with various government and private sector funders as well as working diligently to achieve center accreditation for the training service. As a consultant, I combine my practical expertise with management consultancy methods in reviewing existing facilities strategies and associated budgets for SMEs and educational institutions, providing service improvement recommendations and supporting the achievement of flexible, sustainable and efficient facilities services.
