Coordinate with industrial engineers, production managers, and machine operators to ensure efficient and accurate fabrication while minimizing material and labor waste. Work with shop operators/assembler and Quality Control to verify products and to identify elements of fabrication, assembly, and operation for future improvements. Train newly hired engineers, and cross-train existing engineering staff on new, updated, and/or specialized product types. Travel to job sites to ensure product fitment and functionality.
