Jessica Guzman- Spanton

I had the opportunity to work with Joe for over two years as part of the supply leadership team at Amplify. During this time, he regularly demonstrated a bias for action through his collaborations with groups across the organization to support the delivery of near-term programs and goals. Joe always took time to provide strategic thought leadership on how we can adapt and scale our processes to support continued growth. Joe built a strong and diverse team putting his people first. He is good at coaching employees along with taking the lead. It was clear that they trusted and appreciated his leadership through continued commitment even during challenging service interruptions. He is extremely dedicated to his work and the company he works for. He would be an invaluable asset to any organization.

Joe and I worked together for three years, first starting a Transportation partnership, followed 18 months later by a Warehouse partnership. Joe provided clear, concise and honest communication to the teams on his expectations and requirements, as well as how his organization and team would support. Joe used data and information to drive his conversations and was willing to listen to solutions my team provided, even if it meant changing internal processes. Joe had responsibility for several key parts of the supply chain, and he spent time looking for ways to drive efficiencies in process and communication. Going through multiple start-ups always creates challenges, and issues surface that weren't fully scoped out. Joe was always open to suggestions on how to solve from everyone involved, and utilized the expertise of the partners he worked with. Joe has great experience across multiple supply chain verticals and would be an asset to any team due to that experience and his partnership approach to problem solving.
