  While employed by Hitachi Rail, I gained the role of Deputy Train Movements Co-ordination (TMC) for my team. This involved planning all train movements for the shift ahead, directing a team of 6 to get the trains to the required locations for the next shift all while driving the shutter connected to the front of the trains. I was of a few lucky people to be trained on using all 3 train shunters in order to move multi-million pound trains around the site.

  While employed by Hitachi Rail, I was a crucial member of the testing team, performing various electrical, mechanical and pneumatic tests on their new trains before they were sent out to the customers. My electrical background played a key part to my knowledge of the electrical systems on the trains. Also, my role as a Shunter Driver consisted of driving the shunter and moving trains around the train yard. This was a safety critical job and teamwork was a crucial skill within this job, communicating with hand signals and radio commands.

  While employed by RPK Electrical, working a variation of Electrical jobs and site, my task was to rewire, amend and rectify a diversity of Electrical installations. I carried out each task successfully under minimum to no supervision with inspecting and testing done by a fully qualified colleague. Using a different range of tools to suit the workload, I rewired, amended and maintained electrical installations. While executing a variety of Electrical knowledge to suit work environments, I maintained a tidy workspace that my Supervisor was very impressed with. I completed my daily jobs lists while also following all Health and Safety procedures involved with my work.
