Detail pre-engineered metal buildings for construction, and light structural. My detailing experience is from a barn to a High School and everything in between. Responsibility included approvals for customers, to a set of permits required from the city, for their approval. These drawings consisted of an anchor bolt plan, elevation drawings, showing piece marks, and where its located, and sections describing the procedure that must be followed (be it bolt, screw or weld) for each connection. I am also responsible for creating a drawing for each member that is not considered a standard member. I create these drawings to tell the shop fabricator what must be done to make each individual member. Following this process I must bill out every member, screw, bolt, etc that is needed to make this building into one solid structure. These shippers are also required so that nothing is misplaced, and all that is needed is accounted for in the erection process. I have also been responsible in checking that the final product is correct and ready for both the shop and the erection process. All of these drawings are done using AutoCAD2016, or the drafting board (pencil) as needed. Show less
