  My first role in the Golf Industry, which confirmed my career choice in Golf Club Management. Golf Club Assistant, responsible for answering day to day enquiries, general administration and marketing, and completing tasks set by the Management Committee. After 8 months the role developed to Interim Club Manager which provided an early opportunity to experience the 'hot seat'. Responsibilities: - Managing the day to day running of Radyr Golf Club - People Management - Marketing - Sales - Committee Meeting involvement at all levels - Health & Safety Management - Membership My role at Radyr developed into Assistant Club Manager once a Club Manager was appointed. - Responsibilities were driven towards sales, in particular membership and marketing, competition management and green fee revenue. Within 3 months, the team introduced 59 new members to the Club. This role also influenced me to undertake the GCMA (Level 5) Diploma in Golf Club Management.
