Committed and hardworking is what comes to mind when I think about Joe. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Joe for over 3 years whilst working for the Unicorn Training Group Ltd, prior to its acquisition by the Access Group. Joe was an integral part of the Unicorn sales team, in addition, he was instrumental in the set up & delivery of our high-profile exhibition event in San Diego US. Above all, I was impressed with Joe’s ability to remain level-headed, focused and cheerful even when sales targets seemed unattainable. Joe would be a true asset for any company.

Joe is very knowledgeable on e-learning systems and content. Always a pleasure to be around and the best possible invite for an Xmas party.

    • Specialist LMS Business Development Manager - Digital Learning and Compliance
      • Jan 2018 - Aug 2021

Unicorn Training joined The Access Group in April 2019. I worked at Access Group specialising in selling the Access LMS to a wide range of clients where they had a need for a strong, compliance based Learning Management System that was easy to use. During my time with Access I was involved in different projects including App development, product positioning and also how to effectively demo our software to emphasise our key features to increase our win rate. It was this work with the pre-sales and marketing team where the focus was enabling sales to succeed that gave me the drive to explore a new career in pre-sales. Show less

Serious Games International specialised in large scale immersive simulations, 3D visualisations in virtual and augmented reality and gamification applications. I joined SGIL to increase my knowledge on how cutting edge technology can be applied to learning and development. As well as creating innovative learning solutions, a big part of my role was educating my clients on what benefits this tech brings to their organisation and also how it can be applied to increase learner engagement. Due to SGIL going through major organisational restructure with Coventry University and the decision to not add any new client contracts, my role was made redundant. Show less

Following my keen interest in learning technology and to learn more about LMS systems, I joined IMC in 2012. IMC wanted to expand their presence in the UK eLearning market place through their LMS offering, eLearning content creation and also a new performance support tool. At IMC I was part of a small sales team that generated new leads through outbound business development and creating email campaigns. I left IMC after being headhunted by Pharmaceutical Training International and IMC changing their sales strategy to a partnership model. Show less

Clients were more frequently looking for an alternative cost effective solution to classroom based compliance training and this piqued my interest. Seeing the future of training, I took the opportunity to join Intellego and move into eLearning. At Intellego I was responsible for selling the Regulatory and Clinical compliance eLearning tool (Zenosis). Intellego ceased training in 2010.
