An excellent listener and a quick learner, Joe always seems interested in expanding his skill set. While many prefer to solve problems with the first or easiest solution that they find, Joe is always willing to go outside of his comfort zone to learn a better way of doing things. For almost my entire time at Alfred State College, as well as in the workplace, I have known Joe to be an eager student, a valuable coworker, and a charitable friend. His classmates and his mentors consider him a valuable team member in group work. On his own, he consistently completes work to the best of his ability, and respects and understands the value of peer review. Joe is a strong communicator, and has received experience in the classroom and in the office that has prepared him for the fast pace the industry demands. He has shown to adapt quickly to new situations, and to keep up with those who have been around for a lot longer than he has. For these reasons, I believe Joe will have a positive impact on whatever workplace he is a part of.

Joe has worked with our firm throughout his college career. His enthusiasm to learn and successfully resolve project challenges was evident in his first few weeks in our office. Joe is energetic, efficient, and has a great work ethic, all of which are valuable traits in our field. Joe worked on projects with many of our team members and everyone of them is complimentary of Joe's abilities. With experience, I am confident Joe will become a great Architect.

During my breaks from school I spent my time interning at APD. The tasks performed range from simple mark-ups from a project lead, to designing concept plans and elevations along with designing floor plans for retro-fit projects.
