I have had the opportunity of working with Josep on a day-to-day basis and it has been an immense pleasure. From the get-go, Josep took on many responsibilities with genuine interest and commitment, and delivered more than was expected of him. He quickly adapted to his new role in a professional working environment, and became an integral part of the team managing his own areas of responsibility. Josep Sunyer did an traineeship at the Catalonia Trade and Investment Office in Copenhagen during the period of December 2021 to August 2022, where I was his direct manager. During this time, he proved to be a great asset to our team. Josep was motivated and interested in taking on any task, regardless of its complexity. He demonstrated great work ethics and could work independently with little guidance. Amongst the activities and tasks that he performed he elaborated in-depth market research in various sectors, prepared various presentations on various sectorial topics, developed material for incoming delegations to the Nordic countries, and was responsible for the development of a number of market-entry projects. Personally, I see Josep as an individual with a great ability to deliver professional contribution, who works effectively under pressure, and who has a systematic and orderly approach to his work.
