I took a bit of a gamble hiring Josef to curate a series of art installations for Tiger Beer to celebrate Chinese New Year - he was young, more concerned with the project's artistic integrity than keeping me and my client in our comfort zone and challenged me right from our first meeting. Luckily he totally smashed it out of the park and made me look like a rockstar in my agency, Exposure, which was already packed with rockstars. In fact I have the shot of the old, burn down Brighton Pier, which Josef had 'rebuilt' using laser projection, as the lead image on my own comms portfolio. This image ran in every paper with branded coverage. Yep I did say branded. Josef's vision was so strong and the reality so damn good that, despite the installation itself carrying zero branding, every single paper credited it to Tiger Beer.
