  I use a wide variety of resources to create a class to fulfill the needs of all my students and motivate them to learn a foreign language through projects and activities. Continuously monitor the progress of each one of my students and employ several options to properly assess the diverse groups of learners, encourage my students so they can be actively engaged in the learning process. In my lessons I teach content my students can apply on a day-to-day basis and practice at home In my classes I create a positive and nurturing environment where students can express themselves. I make sure every student is represented. Everything from the books we choose to read, to the images used in my resources, I make sure my students can identify themselves in these stories and the content I am sharing in my class. I am very passionate about my culture and heritage. I include cultural themes all year long. I enjoy creating all my own learning resources to meet the needs of all my students and actively include technology activities for all my classes. Show less
