I have worked with Jose Antonio for over 7 years. He is a very intelligent, creative, experienced and dedicated consultant with a great humour and a high technical skills over Microsoft platform. It doesn't matters the amount of job over him, he always finds time to help others. I feel priviledged to work with him and it will be a pleasure to work together in a future.

Have been a pleasure to work in Jose Antonio's team at JCI 2009. During this year he has been coaching and transferring professionalism and motivation to rubuild our organization and encourage new ideas. He is really good at standardizing things and his great skills on IT solutions made him a perfect planer in internet launches and interfaces of every project, which is a "must" in the actual context. For sure he will expand his future in the next challenging years.

During the first year in the company, I served as Project Leader on a Project to Abertis client (industry sector). From a business standpoint, the Project aimed to companies linked to Abertis (basically ACESA and AUCAT companies). These two companies are responsible for managing the maintenance and their highway warehouse. The offered solution was the introduction of a new mobility channel that would address the needs of the business of the highways operation and service companies. From a technical standpoint, the solution was to develop a customized application based on Microsoft technology (mobile devices with Windows Mobile 5.0 and .NET Compact Framework 2.0 technology) to be integrated with the Abertis back-end system responsible for managing the maintenance warehouse (SAP Plant Maintenance) and that would work in “off-line”. My job as a Project Leader was to:o Defining/evaluating both functional and technical project risks.o Estimating the cost of the project (hours/resources)o Developing proposals.o Tracking the project both quality and delivery times. The work team consisted on 10 members distributed between developers, database administrators, system administrators, functional analysts and testers. I joined Avanade to develop the work of technical analyst and subsequently, development team leader for the retail customer “Pespico Bottling Group”. The execution of the project was carried out entirely on the client headquarters (in Vitoria – Spain) The company was immersed in implantation process of SAP (FI, HR, etc.) but required: • A solution that enable a mobile channel to its authorized dealers, which also integrate with its old back-end system. • A tool to help them to apply a discount policy over their products (DP tool), based on the product and physical location where the sale is executed. • An integration of their built solutions (mobile solution and DP tool) with the new SAP backend system. I adopted the following functions: • As a technical analyst: o Working with the project leader in the functional design definition and elaboration of the DP tool. o Designing and developing the DP tool technical documentation. • As a team leader: o Managing the DP tool development team (one software developer and one system architect) o Defining/evaluating news functional and technical requirements for the integration of the mobile solution and DP tool to the new SAP backend system. From the technologic standpoint: • The DP tool was created based on client/server architecture, using .NET Framework 2.0, ADO.NET and a SQL Server 2000 database as a middleware between the backend system and the mobile devices. • SQL replication was used for the communication between devices and middleware. • Remoting technical was implemented for the communication between client and server.
