Created Systems Architecture design and Development Standards document for QMS project. The architecture design involved using Progress Open Edge development environment , Appserver and Codejock Software OCX controls. Development templates were created to speed development of QMS modules. The template contained toolbar logic, standard procedures to handle validation, clear screen, database updates and edit/cut/paste functionality. Standard procedures were designed with common business logic shared by all modules. The Development Standards document is used to maintain business logic commonality across QMS modules. • Developed and tested modules for Receipts, Releases, Spec Requirements, Shop Floor, Certification and Shipping. Managed work load between myself and two other developers. Verified work met development standards and tested work against design specs. The major development was performed by me, the other two developers worked on reports, enhancements and integration to third party system for lab testing.

Currently provide second-level help desk support for production environment. This project used Windows XP and Windows 2000 operating systems. • Lead Progress developer for enhancing UFS field accounting application. The UFS application was divided into several divisions (Corporate Services, Campus Services, and Canada Services). Each with its own separate code and database structure. The different database structure was combined into one database. A new database was created incorporating fields and indexes from each division. The database was normalized with proper indexes. New fields and indexes were added when required. Performance tuning was performed for indexes using test data. Each separate program for each division was combined into one program. Each division required customization of progress specific to their needs. By combining the database and progress code, maintenance of database and programs was reduced significantly. This project used Windows 9x and Windows 2000 operating systems and Progress version 9.1b.
