I have known Jose Navarrete for about three years now, first as a student assistant while he worked under the Associate Dean and then as the Business Graduate Programs Office (formally known as the MBA Office) Graduate Assistant. When Mr. Navarrete was transferred into the Business Graduate Programs Office he showed a strong initiative during his training period and was eager to learn. Due to his student assistant experience in the College of Business and Public Administration Office he was able to pick up tasks rather quickly and offer excellent customer service to all business graduate students and prospective students. Jose was always very quick in completing projects and never waited for new projects to be assigned, he would check in with either myself or other staff showing initiative to work and begin new projects. It must be said that he is a true team player who is always willing to assist in any way possible. He would always welcome all office guests (students, staff, faculty) with a kind smile and would be willing to help in any way possible. Another positive characteristic of Jose is while there were ongoing changes in the office made it a point to handle these changes very professional. I can say with ease that to date, no one has been able to match Jose's work ethic and drive. I wholeheartedly recommend Jose for any future position, if possible I would hire Jose once more.
