  As a software developer at Compathnion, a startup company with core teams from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, I was instrumental in the development of the Indoor Positioning System (IPS) SDK. Our team leveraged Wi-Fi positioning and geomagnetic data for a fusion approach and utilized beacon technology and pathfinding algorithms to deliver highly accurate and cost-effective business positioning solutions. I worked on the wherami software suite, which was designed to offer a comprehensive solution for indoor localization, navigation, asset tracking, and user behavior analytics. Through the use of various handheld sensors, such as Wi-Fi, iBeacon BLE, magnetic fields, and dead-reckoning/INS, we were able to deliver highly accurate localization. The product was successfully trialed in various environments including airports, shopping malls, hospitals, exhibition centers, and university campuses.
