Scope included: removal of top ring and several plates of shell, lifting tank, replacement and repairs of internal floating roof, installation of a new geodesic dome, construction of new tank foundation, external and internal coatings application. - GGH Flake Gas Lining: Installation of the Flake Gas lining to 2 gas heater systems (ducting and equipment) in 2 stages. • Based out of the Woodlands TX, was responsible for both the planning and engineering stages, as well as construction and execution phases for various large-scale tank and piping fabrication projects, located in the US and South America. • Worked closely with on-site team and travelled frequently to ensure all aspects of project were completed safely, per specs and on time/budget. • Tracked project KPI’s and worked closed with Quality Control department to ensure projects are completed per specs. • Led a cross-functional team of up to 200 staff, including superintendents, safety specialists, engineers, project controls, procurement and inspection. • Projects included: - Freeport LNG On & Off Module Piping Fabrication, Trains 1, 2,3; Beaumont TX: Piping fabrication was behind schedule so was brought in to get it back on target and out to the customer. Managed fabrication sequencing, materials delivery coordination ensured specs were adhered to, generated progress and financial reports for customer and senior leadership.- Propane Tank Repairs PDVS GAS, Venezuela: EPC development and planning for replacement of the foundation heating system for one 219 Ft Diam and 500 MMBBL low temperature propane storage tank. Scope included coordination of the engineering, procurement, and on-shore and off-shore fabrication activities, all in accordance with API 653, API 620.- VICHOA, Portuguesa/Barinas, Venezuela: Engineering, Procurement, and on-site construction for four (4) 400MMBBL Ethanol Tanks, with Internal Floating Roof.- PDVSA Tank Projects, Puerto La Cruz & Jose, Venezuela: On site construction and safe execution of one (1) Jet A1 Fuel Tank, three (3) 250 KBBL Double-Deck Floating Roof Tanks, and one (1) 350 KBBL Double-Deck Floating Roof Tank. Addressed site-related technical queries and ensured conformance to design and project requirements. Supported and coached field engineers. - Water Corporation, Perth, Australia: Successfully managed the construction of one (1) x 75m diameter water tank at Sawyers Valley, WA, bringing the project in on budget, ahead of schedule, with zero recordable incidents.
