Working in the infrastructure platform delivery team. The team has responsibility of Continuous Integration (Travis Enterprise), artifact/container storage (Artifactory), bakery (amis and docker containers) and Continuous Delivery to both AWS ASG's and Kubernetes using Spinnaker.I've been mainly focusing on the Platform as a Service developed in-house to speed up Schibsted deployments across the organization. We've deployed a Kubernetes cluster on AWS using kube-aws, and developed a PaaS as a Kubernetes Operator to centralize how applications are deployed to Kubernetes at Schibsted. And we are now in the stageof rolling out these new tools and processes to the rest of the company. This means:- Develop a Platform as a Service based on existing open source projects- Ocassionaly contribute to open source projects- Set and share a global mid to long-term vision on what the platform should look like- Managing expectations and setting deadlines with teams interested on the new platform- Hold stakeholder meetings to further develop our PaaS, based on the stakeholder's feedback
