Lorenzo Serra

In the three years that I have known Jose Miguel Montero and that I have had the chance to work with him at CEPSA E&P, I have been pleased with his very professional and hardworking attitude. His ability to acquire petrophysical skills and proficiency in a very short time has impressed me. Jose Miguel is a fast learner and always eager to widen his knowledge through books or new papers. He has excellent communication skills and a friendly personality. I am convinced that he will apply the same dedication and talent to his next career paths.

José Miguel is a very good geologist/petrophysicist with high aptitudes to learn any challenge in front of him. He is very talented and intelectually restless with a solid background in exploration geology and petrophysics. For instance, he was once interesed in Pore Pressure Predictions and he understood all the concepts and methods in just a short session in the office, proving his abilities by making adequate questions and suggestions. I had also the chance to work closely with him in an Algerian drilling campaign and he was self-motivated and willing to participate in any task he was asked for and proving as a co-operative colleague at the rig-site. Relationships-wise he has proven to be a friendly employee able to create a great atmosphere around him and the teams where he was included.
