My role as a consultant agent in geek squad is to provide knowledgeable technology solutions and support. Managing the process of check in and check out for the clients. Assisting clients with troubleshooting technology related issues by using soft skill tools to make sure they understand and provide ideal solutions. Another role as a geek squad consultation agent is to coach and educate the sales team of service and technology to provide clients with the best possible experience to meet client needs. As a consultant agent we also had to understand business metrics and performance indicators to coordinate and coach peers to improve growth individually and as a team. Diagnosing and troubleshooting end-user computing problems, then test proposed fixes and follow up to resolve further issues. In the geek squad I was also able to get certified as an AASP (Apple Authorized Service provider), that includes being in charge of shipping and receiving customer, consignment parts. Being an AASP was expected to provide the best customer experience by successfully diagnosing and recommending solutions to fix customer issues, and also expected to to provide excellent customer service.
