• Ensures that UI Health is compliant with all Joint Commission standards regarding the Environment of Care(EC), Life Safety(LS) Standards including annual reviews and completion of the Focused Standards Assessment (FSA). -Provide FIre and Life Safety services to UIC and UIH. These services vary from trainings, inspections, policy review and any other fire and life safety service that may be needed. -I manage the fire extinguisher maintenance program for UIC and UIH. -Manage a team of 5-7 student and part-time employees-Assist in the construction process on campus in various aspects from plan review to onsite inspections.
