To Whom It May Concern: I write this letter of recommendation for Joséphine Vuillard with great enthusiasm for the exceptional quality of her work as a translator of written French. She spent 2 months with our organization working as a translator as part of an internship program, and was a positive contributor during her time in our office. Joséphine Vuillard has translated a wide variety of documents, and she has shown particular adeptness at translating internal technical documents into French and learning and applying new practices and tools. Her strong ability to carefully select the most appropriate words and strong writing skills show that she is capable of more than literal transposing from English to French and vice versa. She showed a very strong work ethic during her time with ProTranslating and it is clear that she is very passionate about her work. She works very well in unsupervised situations where she is given a project to complete with little to no supervision, and she gained the trust and respect of her peers quickly with the strong quality of her work. Not only is her writing style excellent, but her command of spoken English is also more than adequate for any business/technical situation, and Josephine fit very well into our working and social environment. I worked with Joséphine for the development of plazza, the internal social network of Orange launched 6 months before her arrival, and this collaboration was very rewarding. During one year, she proved to be very adaptable and the efficiency of her work as well as her initiatives highly contributed to the success of our network, at a key moment of its existence. Her writing skills and her command of English and Spanish have been particularly worthy for the development of our network that is so far available in 38 countries. Thanks to her dynamism and perseverance, Joséphine soon developed project management skills by taking in charge, for instance, the designing and launching of a newsletter to more than 100 000 readers. She also showed team management skills as she held meetings by herself, trained a new apprentice and even stood in for me on several occasions including a business trip. I highly recommend her as I am convinced that she can be a great asset, most of all because she is able to adapt to fast-paced environments and to work and communicate easily on worldwide projects.
