They are the majority of the unbanked and thanks to the use of Blockchain and cryptocurrencies we believe there is the opportunity to rethink the financial system so they are included. We help eliminating major barriers to global flow of capital by contacting investors in developed countries (with low yield regarding the excess of liquidity), to solvent farmers in developing countries (with low liquidity and high interest rates), benefiting both parties by obtaining higher yields and lower interest rates respectively. In order to reduce lending risk, we have created an innovative compensation system operated by our token, the Ethix. Show less

I undertake a variety of HR duties and I performed tasks with a focus to grow our company’s talent pipeline and improve our sourcing tactics. I personally develop a work-family conciliation policy and also developed some raising wages vinculated to productivity improvements. In 2007 I became operations manager and I also took on business development. The postion required monitoring and analysing the system of production and provision to check it’s effectiveness, and I identified that the biggest challenge was to merge three warehouses into one bigger and more efficient that resulted on more than 1M€ cost reduction. The companys strategy was to gain market and from the position I has I gain large experience on expanding the business through the acquisition of other companies. The most important operation was the adquisition for 1€ of one our main competitors, Tainco. Those were complicated years with a severe economic crises in Spain. by the end of 2011 I was asked to become the CEO with 880 employees and 102 sales points, just when the crisis became worse and access to credit became almost impossible for small and medium size enterprises in Spain, particularly from the construction sector. By then, many companies of the sector had already shutted down. Due to the lack of working capital while a refinancing process, sales were affected and we decided to start an insolvency procedure. Finally we sold the sales points to competitors into the liquidation process, so I gain huge learning about refinancing processes, working capital optimization, legal aspects in this special scenario, M&A from also from the seller position, and many others.

I negotiated the buying of the company with 220 employees and over 10€Million assets for 1€ in competence with Electrostocks, a electrical wholesaler leading company. The acquisition became a problem when the macroeconomic situation of Spain changed dramatically just after the bought. Even Though the first month we did 1.173k€ sales and fifth months later we reached 2.492k€ even when the market decreased about 30% during the same period. Unfortunately the financial and economical situation in Spain were affecting very us strongly, and even this results were not enough and we ran out of working capital. Show less
