  Context Awareness Platform Project • Worked on a team of seven people in teams of front-end and back-end. Covered all phases of a software process: requirements gathering, design and planning, implementation, and verification. • Worked in the development of a server-side application and an Android application that interact with each other via RESTful services. • Developed features for the back-end service to store i-beacon and user information. • Developed features for the Android app, which uses Bluetooth Low Energy to detect i-beacons, request their information to the server and display them according to their proximity using Android fragments. • Designed and implemented a database manager using SQLite to allow team members to provide easy access to the data storage capabilities of Android devices in future feature development. • Developed an XML parser that allows the Android application to consume XML RESTful resources from the Rails server. • Implemented unit and integration tests for the Android app and the database manager, using Mockito and JUnit.
